Working with families year after year is one of the biggest perks of my job! I really get to know families in a more deep and familiar fashion – and it makes our sessions that much more enjoyable for everyone. I’m so happy that this sweet family came back for new fall family photos at Larz Anderson Park! We’ve worked together on other portraits in the past, including their gorgeous Bradley Estate portraits!
Fall Family Portraits at Larz Anderson Park
We lucked out with truly gorgeous colors the weekend of their session! It was definitely the foliage peak – and we had beautiful weather, too. I don’t think any of us could have asked for a more beautiful session than this one! They planned perfect outfits for the colors at Larz Anderson Park, too. I love the navy blues, browns, and ivory that they chose. I think everyone looked fabulous and every outfit worked well together.
This sweet family is so happy and wonderful. They were laughing and smiling with each other throughout our whole session. Their two sweet pups were amazing, too! I love working with dogs (though I still miss mine!) and these two were real sweethearts for me. After we captured photos with the dogs, we really focused on the smaller connections throughout the family – each parent with their kids, and the kids together – moments like that. It’s important to me to really break down your session and capture all of these smaller groupings so that you can document what’s special about your family right now.
