I have always been interested in telling stories, and it is through photography that I found the perfect way to create and document visual stories and to capture those special memories I don’t want to forget. It was not until I was in college and I moved to Münster (a little town in Northern Germany), that I started to feel the urge to document every single change I was going through in a new country. I met my husband at the Universidad de las Americas in Puebla, two hours away from Mexico City. We were aware that after his program in Puebla ends he would have to return to Germany, and thousand of miles were going to lay between us. After a long time of deliberations, I finally decided to take the next step and moved to Germany to continue my college education. Two years later I graduated with a master degree in Communication Science at the Wilhelms University of Münster. Several years (and countries) later, we got three adorable boys. By this time, I already knew how important it was to me to capture every memory possible of my children.
It felt like capturing those little chunky hands, curls, teeth and sweet moments, the memories wouldn’t go fade and time would freeze. This became my passion. I wanted to learn all I could about digital art to create beautiful imagery. After we moved to Boston in 2008, I enrolled in a digital photography program at Boston University and I finally was able to pursue my dream and start a photography career. I am a baby, child and family photographer specializing in fine art and lifestyle baby photography based in Dedham, MA. I love to use natural light on my portraitures when it’s possible. I shoot with a Nikon D5 and various zoom and prime lenses. My favorite lens is a Nikon 70-200 f/2.8. Today I live in Dedham, MA with my family and I am proudly serving the Boston Metro West area and surroundings. I am looking forward to having the opportunity to capture those special moments for you and your family!
