Lifestyle Newborn Portraits in Waltham MA

I absolutely adore this family! Last year, I had the opportunity to capture their son’s first birthday portraits in their gorgeous Waltham MA home. And now, they have welcomed their newest love to the world! Their second son was born (a few weeks early!) and to celebrate his arrival home, we planned a lifestyle newborn portrait session at home. It was so good to see everyone – healthy and back at home – for their dreamy session. This family knows how to really create something beautiful with their portraits and this time was no exception!

Lifestyle Newborn Portraits at Waltham MA Home

Originally, I was supposed to photograph this mom’s maternity and newborn portraits. But, because her son’s birth was unexpected and she was rushed to the hospital, we had to skip her maternity photos. We’ll do a mini family session later this year to capture her sons’ growth or something instead, but I’m so happy I was able to see them all now!

When I arrived, I couldn’t wait to get started. This family is just SO beautiful. They had the perfect outfits to match the light natural colors in their home and I’m obsessed with mom’s dress. It was so flowy and she looked incredible. I know all of her boys agreed! Their older son wasn’t too sure about having to show off his baby brother and was definitely a little jealous… which is okay! We worked with him for as long as he would let me and then gave him plenty of breaks. It allowed me to capture the special moments between their new baby and his parents. We even snagged a few portraits of just mom and dad together, too!

Congratulations to this beautiful family. I’m so happy for you all and thankful that your little boy is home resting and being loved on! I can’t wait to see you later this year – and see how much boy of your sons have grown!
