I absolutely adore summer family portraits in the city. There’s just something magical about the glowing light and the way that the city comes alive in these warmer days. I recently met up with this beautiful family for their sunset family portraits at Fan Pier Park, one of my favorite spots on the waterfront! They wanted to update their family photos and also celebrate their oldest son’s high school graduation. Their younger son was also leaving middle school this year, so it was the perfect time to celebrate as a family. I loved learning more about them – including that they’re originally from Puerto Rico but are now living in Boston!
Fan Pier Park Family Portraits
Last summer, I spent many evenings at Fan Pier Park with my families. It’s a beautiful spot right on the Charles River. I love it because of the gorgeous sunsets we get! The light is always perfect in the evening. For this session, we really lucked out because it was a warm and breezy evening so we weren’t all melting from the heat!
This family is going through such a big transition as their sons move into the next part of their lives. I’m so happy I could capture this sweet moment in time for these four!
