I adore working with families over and over. Watching children grow up and relationships develop is one of the best parts of my job. That’s why I was so happy when this sweet family reached out about summer family photos at Arnold Arboretum. I worked with them in 2019, when they won a session from the Shooting Touch Gala. Their children have grown up so much since our session then – it was wonderful to see them all again!
Spring Family Photos at Arnold Arboretum
Originally, we had planned to photograph their session in the fall. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule their session a few times and we wound up getting together in the spring. Honestly, Arnold Arboretum is equally as beautiful in the spring as it is in the fall, so it all worked out anyway! This family’s luck continued to work in our favor, too. Leading up to their session, we had cold and rainy weather. But the day of their session was so beautiful. We had a gorgeous afternoon and sunset – just in time for their photos! I’m so thankful Mother Nature played nicely with us!!
I absolutely adored working with this family of five again. They’re lots of fun, super relaxed, and you can clearly see how much they love each other. It was the perfect spring afternoon at Arnold Arboretum!
