Although I didn’t know this sweet family very well when I arrived to photograph their Dedham family portrait session, once we started talking I realized it was like chatting with old friends. They won this session during a silent auction offered through the Shooting Touch Gala. I was thrilled when I got the email that the auction had a winner! We began to plan their fall family session immediately!
It turns out this family lives in my old neighborhood, where my children have grown up. They actually know a lot of the people know since their kids have gone to the same school as ours! It’s such a small world, isn’t it? As we kept photographing and talking, I came to realize that we really were like old friends! We laughed and had a ton of fun. The three kids are the perfect age to be photographed. They actually wanted to smile for me and were great with their parents! It made my job really easy!!!
We lucked out with a beautiful day for their Dedham family portraits – even if it was a little grey. The rest of the fall colors showed up beautifully for us! We were so lucky! Congratulations to this sweet family, again, for winning the auction. I’m so happy we got to meet and talk about our little corner of the world!
