I am so excited to be sharing this beautiful newborn session with you today! These three (and their fur babies!) are super sweet and I had a great time capturing their family in their apartment. Their baby was about 2 months old when we did their newborn portraits, so he was a bit old for the traditional newborn portraits. But, he was still amazing – and we got to do some different poses because he was a bit bigger and stronger. Plus he was just SO smiley for me, and he did manage to sleep a lot of his session (like smaller newborns do!). We had a great time photographing their newborn session in their Foxborough apartment.

Speaking of their apartment, I absolutely LOVED how they decorated their space. It’s so chic and cozy. I had some great spaces to work with, filled with lots of natural light. These three are so lucky to have such a beautiful home to enjoy! They also have a little dog and cat, who absolutely love their new brother – and are super loved, too. One of my favorite images from their session is when the baby was laying in the crib while his parents held the cat and dog up to look at him. It’s so sweet! I’m always about including your pets in your portraits, so I’m happy their pup was willing to pose for a few photos with the family.
We focused mostly on this little guy’s nursery and the living room, which was perfect. With all of the neutral colors and details, they were exactly the kind of spaces I love photographing. Mom changed her outfit between a beautiful long blue and white dress, and a more casual outfit of shorts and a white shirt. I liked that she had different outfit options. Again, it’s an easy way to create more variety in your final images!
