I am so excited to have gotten the chance to photograph this gorgeous family! They are new clients of mine and this fall, we met for family portraits at Larz Anderson Park. Coordinating their session took a bit of work since both girls are busy with hockey – and we had to reschedule due to rain, but we lucked out! The day we finally settled one was so gorgeous and perfect for their family photos!

As you might have seen on the blog, Larz Anderson Park was a popular location for family photos this fall. Once you scroll though this family’s session, it will be abundantly clear why. This park is a staple in the Boston landscape – and it is always stunning. The day of this family’s session, we had pleasant weather and yet the most gorgeous yellow and orange foliage! I loved the sage green, white, and browns that they chose for their outfits. I think they coordinated perfectly with the season.
Their daughters were so sweet with me! Since they’re older, I didn’t have to chase anyone down for a photo, and they were more than willing to hug and snuggle up with their parents. It was so perfect! I made sure to still include some fun prompts, like getting them to run through the trees – it always results in the most perfect natural laughs and smiles. I absolutely adored working with this family and I hope it’s the first of many sessions together!
