Congratulations to all of the 2022 graduates!! I absolutely love photographing seniors from both high school and college. But, there’s something truly special about photographing college graduates. They’ve worked so hard! Plus, it’s always emotional for me to photograph BU grads since that’s where my son went. These gorgeous Boston University Graduation portraits were very fun to photograph for me and for this family. Her graduation was a family reunion of sorts, too, which made it even more emotional! Since her parents live in NYC and Singapore, and her grandmothers and sister live in CA, it was special to have everyone together.
Boston University Graduation Portraits
The day of this senior session was actually pretty crazy at Boston Public Garden! Apparently everyone wanted their portraits there for prom, weddings, and other graduations. But, with some creativity (and Photoshop later….), we made this beautiful session happen! With a little bit of patience, we began to explore the park finding quiet spots to photograph this graduation session.
I love that everyone wore white to celebrate BU’s red and white colors and match with the newest graduate! It was important to have both family portraits as well as her graduation portraits. At the end of our session, we made sure to capture her tossing her cap on the bridge. This is definitly one of my all-time favorite shots of graduates at Boston Public Garden!
Congratulations again! Thank you to this incredible family for trusting me with such a big milestone, too. I’m so happy we could create these portraits to celebrate your reunion and incredible graduate!
