I absolutely love photographing families in Boston in the fall! There’s something incredible about the way the air smells and the colors that come to life in and around the city. I met up with this family in September. They’re one of my favorite repeat clients and every year, I look forward to working with them capturing new portraits! This year, we chose to plan a fall Larz Anderson Park family portrait session and it was absolutely stunning!
Fall Larz Anderson Park Family Portraits
These fall family portraits took place in September, which might be my favorite time of year for photos. The weather is starting to cool, but isn’t too cold and daylight savings hasn’t happened, so we can enjoy the longer days and golden light. The night of this session, we had beautiful weather! I absolutely loved these portraits. The kids were all amazing for me, with lots of giggles and big smiles. Before our session, the family had gone apple picking – so they were in a great mood and inspired by fall! It was the perfect way to start our session at Larz Anderson Park.
I have been photographing them for many years and it really feels very nice knowing your clients! Everyone felt more relaxed and we had a great time together. It was more than a photo session – it was like hanging out and catching up. I love feeling like that with my clients and I hope it will be the case for many years to come!
