Congratulations to this sweet family! They recently welcomed their darling baby girl to the world. We celebrated with lifestyle newborn photos at their beautiful Westwood, MA home. Although we had a cloudy day the day of their session, they have the biggest windows. Their home gave us some incredible light through the big windows for their photos! I was so excited to see everyone and meet their newest addition.

I really lucked out this with this session. Their little girl was amazing, super cooperative and very sleepy. In fact, she pretty much slept the whole session. That made creating images of her being cuddled and loved on was super easy for us! Her big brother was interested in being involved for awhile, but eventually got a little jealous of the attention on his little sister. His parents were smart and had someone there to hang out with him, so after the family photos, he could rest and play at home.
They also wanted to include their pup in their family photos, which was adorable! I have to admit, it was a bit hard for me, as I had just lost my dog a few days prior. But it was so nice to see them loving on their fur baby – and it made me appreciate every moment I had with my own.
I’m so happy for this new family of four. I know that bringing a second baby home can often feel overwhelming, but I know they’re going to figure it out. There’s so much love in this home – and I hope that these photos will serve as a reminder of this incredible time for years to come!
