Being a photographer isn’t something I always thought I would do, but becoming a parent changes people. When my sons entered this world, I realized time moved a lot faster than I was prepared for it. That meant my sweet little boys grew up into little men before I even realized it. And, all those tiny moments were gone in a flash. I spent time photographing them, capturing their chunky hands and toothless smiles and before I knew it, I found my calling. It’s definitely being a family photographer. Over the years, I have sought out education, groups to connect me with other photographers, and really anything I can do to ensure that I’m providing the most high quality service to my clients. Along came Click Pro Photographers!

Click Pro Photographers is an association of professional photographers “pursing advanced artistic and business development while amplifying the voice of women worldwide.” They provide a space for women photographers and business owners to come together to collaborate, learn from, and celebrate with. After finding out more about them, I knew I had to join! Click Pro Photographers has a rigorous review process to join, but I was excited to gather my portfolio. After submitting my portfolio of 150 images, I waited patiently while the panel reviewed my application. Although I was anxious, I am THRILLED to announce that I am now a member of Click Pro Photographers!
Click Pro is about more than just being together as female entrepreneurs. Although the fellowship is important, the Click Pro Society is also about education and inspiration. For almost 10 years, members have collaborated on projects like The Daily Project – which allow us to share moments and photographs (and settings, keeping it educational!) to inspire each other. I am looking forward to exploring and getting to know the other members of Click Pro. It makes me SO excited to know that I’m a part of a group with some other incredibly talented women!!
