There’s something really special and beautiful about photographing maternity sessions. The couples I work with are always so excited and full of joy. These parents are anxiously waiting for their little baby to arrive and be in their arms. Of course, my latest Arnold’s Arboretum maternity portraits were no exception. This sweet couple and I met up in this beautiful Boston park (part of Harvard!) for their maternity portraits! They’re expecting their baby boy at the end of August. Personally, I can’t wait to meet him! I know he’s going to be just as sweet as his parents!
Arnold’s Arboretum Maternity Portraits
I absolutely loved meeting this family. Originally, they’re from Oregon but have now settled in Dedham, MA and I’m SO glad!! As soon as they arrived, we began to talk about how excited they are for their little boy to arrive. Their excitement is tangible – and I don’t blame them. These sweet parents chose the perfect outfit for Arnold’s Arboretum – and I just adored mom’s floral crown! It was an awesome boho touch to her outfit. And, with a cloudy day, everything just came together! Truthfully, people always worry about cloudy days but I love them! Because of the cloudy sky and their gorgeous outfit choices, their photos have an almost bohemian feel to them. I LOVE it!
Honestly, their entire session was a great reminder that portraits (maternity or otherwise) don’t have to be super crazy to be beautiful. Sometimes a cloudy day, a gorgeous park, your favorite dress, and that sweet baby bump are all you need! I can’t get over how much I loved this portrait session. Congratulations again to this little family! I cannot wait to meet your little boy when he makes his arrival in the world!! I know you are going to be such fabulous parents!
