I am so excited to be sharing that I have been featured in the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP) Top 100 Image Competition winners. I found out in July that one of my images was included in the finalist list, which was awesome! And then, one of my images was actually featured in their November edition of the Inspired Magazine! It is such an honor to be recognized as one of the top photographers in the competition. Especially when I look at some of the amazing photographers I’m listed with! I can’t believe I’m a NAPCP Top 100 Images finalist!!!
This year, the honor of being a NAPCP Top 100 Image finalist was extra special to me. This summer I fell down the stairs to my basement and dislocated my ankle. I wound up needing surgery and had to be in a cast (and on bed rest) for 8 weeks. I had to miss out on summer shoots and summer vacations. Bummed hardly explains how I felt as I spent the time in bed upset that I wasn’t able to photograph my beautiful clients. To then find out I was considered one of the top photographers for NAPCP’s competition was such an incredible feeling!

Without you, this award and feature would never have been possible! I’m so grateful to be able to do what I love every day with each of you.
