Spring Family Sessions 2026 are now officially open!

Spring in Boston is one of my favorite times of the year to photograph families. After the long winter months, the city slowly comes back to life—trees begin to bloom, gardens fill with color, and the soft evening light creates the most beautiful backdrop for family portraits.

I’m excited to share that my Spring Family Sessions for 2026 are now officially open for booking!

These sessions are designed to be relaxed and natural, giving your family space to connect, play, and simply enjoy time together. My goal is always to capture genuine moments—the laughter, the cuddles, and the little expressions that make your family unique.

Sessions will take place outdoors in some of my favorite locations around Boston and the surrounding areas, or indoors at the comfort of your home. Spring offers such a beautiful palette for portraits, from flowering trees to soft pastel tones that photograph wonderfully.

If you’ve been thinking about updating your family photos, spring is the perfect time to do it. The season is short, and dates tend to fill quickly, so I encourage you to reserve your session early.

I can’t wait to see so many familiar families again and meet new ones this season.

What if you can’t decide what images to pick?

If you love all your images and simply can’t choose your 20 favorite images, you can upgrade and get the entire gallery with a black and white conversion of all your images (+50 images) for:

How to reserve your Family Session this Spring:

1. Email info@helenagoessens.com to share your top 2 desired dates and time slots

2. After we have set up your date and time I’ll email you a photography agreement and a link to submit your 50% session deposit

3. An email with a reservation confirmation and a “how to prepare for your session” guide will be sent after the signed agreement and paid invoice are received
