It has been a busy summer as we make up for lost from the spring thanks to COVID-19. This beautiful family’s session was one that I had to reschedule for July from the spring. But, I’m SO glad that I had the chance to work with them after all! I had actually photographed their youngest daughter last winter for her senior portraits and so getting to see everyone together this time was amazing. We chose to go to the Arnold Arboretum for their Peter’s Hill family portraits this summer!

Being a family with grown children makes for a hectic life, but I’m so glad that we were able to get all three girls together for their session. Their youngest daughter is heading to college in the fall – and everyone’s taking a road trip to drop her off. Their second daughter will be doing her classwork from home, since her school is virtual. And their eldest will be moving to New York. So, needless to say, it’s a busy time for this incredible family!
Taking the afternoon to get together for family portraits at Peter’s Hill was SUCH a great decision. I had a great time capturing each of the girls and their personalities, not to mention their relationships with each other and their parents. Although I always strive to capture all of those things in my family sessions, doing so with adult children can be a bit easier, ha!
