I’m so happy I was able to meet this beautiful family this year for their fall family portraits at Larz Anderson Park! They moved from North Carolina last July to Newton, and I’m thrilled for them. They’ve settled into New England life very well! Looking back on this session, I’m just reminded of how joyful it was – for me and for this family. I love walking away from a session with a huge smile on my face. And that’s exactly how this one went.
Fall Family Portraits at Larz Anderson Park
Both of the kids were just adorable during our entire session! Their daughter was patient and caring with her little brother, and great for me. You can just tell how much she loves her family!! And her little brother was super fun. He adores Woody, from Toy Story, and so Woody made an appearance in our session. I think it’s so special to see kids bring what they love to our photos. No matter how big he gets, his parents will always remember his “Woody” phase – and I LOVE knowing I was part of capturing that history for them.
We lucked out the day of their session with a truly beautiful sunset, and great weather too. As you know by now, I LOVE Larz Anderson Park in the fall. This family chose the perfect color palette for this time of year in the park. It really highlighted the oranges and yellows we were finally getting in the trees. Seriously, fall in Boston was SO late this year! Anyway, I hope you love looking through this sweet family’s session!
