I love fall family portraits in Boston because of the colors and the locations I get to explore with my amazing families. But, I also love them because it’s when I often see my repeat clients, like this family! Many families update their photos each year around this time (perfect timing for Christmas cards!) and it’s great to see how big children have grown and who else has joined the family. This year, I met this family at Wellesley College, which has been a very beautiful location in Wellesley MA this season. I got to meet their newest little one and catch up with this sweet family of five!
Fall Family Photos at Wellesley College
This fall, I’ve brought many families to Wellesley College for portraits. Between the gorgeous stone buildings and the sprawling campus full of fall foliage, it’s been a beautiful option for new portraits! This sweet family was up for anything and willing to walk the entire campus with me. We found the best spots to have them cozy up and play together during our fall session.
They brought Grandma along for portraits this year to help keep the kids’ attention on the camera. It was super helpful and I’m glad that she was able to be there with her grand babies! She definitely helped me capture those images by the lake when everyone was smiling at me. I can’t thank her enough! As I look back through this fall session at Wellesley College, I’m still obsessed with their outfits. They chose such great colors for a late fall session, as the colors are getting deeper and richer. This family leaned into the olives and plum tones of autumn and I think it really paid off!
