I am SO happy to be able to share this beautiful Dedham MA lifestyle newborn session with you today! I photographed this session to celebrate this family’s first baby. We planned their newborn session at home and it was such a great choice. This family has a truly gorgeous home and I felt just honored to be there, capturing these special days with their new little guy.

I am seriously obsessed with this little guy’s nursery! With a green accent wall and the cutest llama details, who wouldn’t be? We spent most of the session in his room because it was just so perfect. After some time in his nursery, we moved into his parents’ room. I mean, this family just has an amazing eye for design! It was a great space to capture some of the most requested images I get.
His mom absolutely loved some of my classic shots, like the close up portraits of baby toes and lips. So, we made sure to incorporate some of those shots and the swaddle portraits too! Even during an at home lifestyle newborn session, we can capture the more traditional newborn portraits with our own flair.
LIFESTYLE NEWBORN SESSIONS
I absolutely love lifestyle newborn sessions at home. Like all of my sessions, I follow your sweet baby’s lead. I let their behavior, needs, and comfort levels drive the session. It’s just not my style to force the session to keep going! By encouraging a more relaxed session, we create images that are more natural and explain your family’s story in a different way. Being comfortable and relaxed is definitely a benefit of an in-home session – where are you more comfortable than at home? Especially with everything going on, I can understand feeling safer and happier in your own home. And who doesn’t love images of your family in the very place you spend all of your days together? Seriously, lifestyle newborn sessions are just SO perfect for so many reasons!
