There is truly nothing like fall in Boston, Massachusetts! The entire city looks like something out of a fairy tale with oranges, reds, and yellows everywhere you look. And there’s no where that’s more true than on the gorgeous historic Beacon Hill in Boston! I absolutely love any chance I get to work at this beautiful spot in the city because it’s just so classic and chic. It makes me fall in love with my city all over again! When this wonderful family reached out and we planned their fall family photos on Acorn Street on Beacon Hill, I couldn’t wait. Unfortunately, the rain and weather forced us to reschedule twice – but we made it happen eventually and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results!
Fall Family Photos on Acorn Street in Boston MA
This was my first session with this beautiful family. They’re from Poland and moved to Boston five and a half years ago. They’ve worked to build a wonderful life here, including welcoming their two children home. Now, they love calling this city theirs and I think it was so fitting to celebrate and document their family in a iconic Boston location! Like I mentioned, we had to reschedule this session twice because of the weather… but it really worked out in our favor. Beacon Hill is a busy spot year round and it can be tricky to photograph a session here. But, because we came on a Sunday morning, it was super calm and not crowed at all! It was a dream!
A perfect location, incredibly on point outfits for the whole family, well-behaved kids, and beautiful fall foliage and decor… this truly was a magical session! I am so happy I was able to work with this sweet family of four and I hope it’s not the last time our paths cross. We had such a great time exploring this historic street and finding the best and most autumnal stoops to snuggle up on. Everywhere we looked was better than the last location – and I think really captured the essence of fall in Boston.
