Jamaica Plain Family Portraits with MA Family Photographer

I’m so excited to be sharing these beautiful Jamaica Plain family portraits with you today! This sweet couple was a dream to work with (and so was their dog!). When they reached out to schedule a session, they told me that they were getting ready to start a surrogacy process so they could be parents. They decided that they wanted to update portraits of them together before that all began, and I was thrilled to be able to help them capture new images of their family!

Jamaica Plain Family Portraits

We met up at one of my favorite places for spring and summer sessions: Peter’s Hill at Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain. It’s always beautiful – with the tall grass and flowers blooming throughout the season. We lucked out the day of their session with beautiful weather and lovely day to work with. They actually had just arrived back from a trip to South America just hours before their session. I was blown away! I’m usually so tired after traveling, but they were all smiles and ready to go with their sweet pup!

As I captured new portraits from them, we talked about the surrogacy process. It’s so obvious that these two are so excited – and so ready – to be parents. I can’t wait to meet their little one when they’ve arrived! I know it will be so special, and all worth the wait in the end. Thank you for trusting me to capture these moments for you both! This is the start of an incredible journey and I’m honored that you shared it with me.
