A few months have passed away since I took this images of my son and his friends playing outside our home. Four friends were just “hanging out” and enjoying a sunny, warm June afternoon…  It was at first sight nothing uncommon for boys beginning their summer vacations but for these friends it was for sure a very special afternoon of catching up, laughing and joking after being separate for over a year. Two of these kids moved to South Africa and another one moved to Singapore with their families in the past year leaving behind friends, family, culture, language and all what make one call “home” being in a foreign country.  They left Massachusetts as boys and they will become men before we know it. Life is taking its path….. And I am happy I could capture a little fraction of this process.
