Welcome to my site! I am a baby, child and family photographer specializing in fine art, lifestyle and custom family photography based in Dedham, Massachusetts and I love to use natural light, whenever possible, on my baby, children, and family portraitures.
My goal for each family photography session is to create a personalized experience for you and your family that it is fun and meaningful. Although the goal of working together is to create wonderful images, I also strive to make the process of getting there enjoyable and memorable. This is how it works!
INITIAL CONSULTATION
Every session begins with an initial consultation so we can get to know each other. I love to learn more about you and your family, your goals for the family photography session, and share ideas on how to incorporate the photographs into your home decoration. I encourage clients to use this time for questions and to share their own vision.
BOOKING YOUR DATE
In order to reserve your family photography session date in my calendar, a nonrefundable session fee of $200 (but transferable in case we need to reschedule) and a signed contract are required. I will work with your schedule to find a perfect day and time for the session.
THE SESSION
A full-length family photography session will approximately last 1 to 2 hours long and include up to 5 people. A pre-session consultation, photo session, ordering session and a private on-line gallery for viewing and ordering.
Get your kids excited for the session and let them know how much fun it will be, but no need to over-prepare them or add too much pressure for “best behavior”. Kids pick up on your stress, so stay cool, even when they throw a tantrum. Our goal is to capture their true expressions, and keeping it light and fun is essential to that. Our best behaved children (and adults for that matter) are usually those that are well fed before our session. Feel free to bring treats to reward good behavior during our session!
AFTER THE SESSION
I will post a brief sneak peek on my facebook page a few days after, highlighting a few photos from your family session! The photos have been taken, individually retouched with great love and care, and now it is time for you to see the end result of all our hard work and planning! One of my client’s favorite part of the entire photo session is getting to see their beautiful images projected in the comfort of their own home. I will bring over all the viewing equipment and go through each image with you individually.
At this point in time, you will have the opportunity to choose the photographs you would like to have as prints, canvas or a variety of other products I offer. I will bring a pricing guide and make recommendations for photo products I think would enhance your living space. This is your time to ask questions, place orders and get excited about your images!
Limited number of session accepted each month. Please reserve your session early to ensure availability.
