Fall family portraits are my favorite each year because it’s one of the busiest times for me – but also because I get to see SO many families from previous years, like this one! We planned a gorgeous fall Concord MA, family portrait session this year! Their session took place at the beginning of September, and we had a truly gorgeous day. The weather has been amazing this year for fall portraits, and I couldn’t be more thankful. It’s so much better to photograph families on warmer, sunlit days instead of chillier ones!!

This family planned their session for a Wednesday afternoon in September, and it paid off. At one of the most popular locations in Concord, we wound up completely alone! I’m so used to working here on the weekends when it’s really busy. It was a nice change to be here and have the grounds to ourselves! It also helped that they planned their session for September and not later in the fall. Thinking ahead really does pay off!
I loved catching up with this entire family. I can’t believe how big the kids have gotten in just a year… It was so good to hear all about what they’re up to these days. When I photograph your family year after year, you’re not just clients. You’re truly my friends. I love any chance I get to see clients like this.
