Extended Family Photos at The Old Manse

Working with families year after year is one of my favorite things about being a Boston family photographer. I love watching them grow and change. Plus, when I get to meet the whole family, my job becomes even more special! That’s what happened with this gorgeous family. I’ve worked with one of the women as a client for many years and this year, they booked an extended family session at the Old Manse in Concord MA. It was such a pleasure to photographer her family, her sister, the parents, and all the kids!

Extended Family Photos at The Old Manse

I always love the chance to work at the Old Manse in Concord, MA. This beautiful historic property sits on the Concord River and is known for its literary associations. It’s a gorgeous property year round and during the fall, I personally love working in the tall grasses! The day of this session, we arrived to them actually cutting the grass!! Luckily, they were kind enough to stop cutting so we could capture a few photos in the long grass. I’m so happy that they were happy to do that for us.

Our session was a lot of fun. The kids had a good time running around and getting extra snuggles from their parents, aunts and uncles, and grandparents. The littlest baby wasn’t too sure about our photos, though. Just when I thought we’d be done since he was not into it – he started giving me the sweetest toothy smiles! So cute. It just goes to show that no matter what happens, we’ll create beautiful portraits your family will treasure forever!
