Boston Back Bay Maternity Portraits

I’m thrilled to be sharing this beautiful Back Bay maternity session with you today! This sweet couple recently moved to Boston from Brazil and they’re expecting their first baby girl. To celebrate and document this special time in their lives, we planned a maternity session for mom. Unfortunately, our plans kept falling through because of the cold and rainy weather. Finally, we had a day with just enough sunshine (that wasn’t too cold) and we took it! We met up on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston and we also stoped at Boston Public Garden before the day was over.

Boston Back Bay Maternity Portraits

I love this area of Boston! Commonwealth Avenue is very popular because of the incredible magnolia trees lining the area. We were hoping for more spring blossoms that we had, but the magnolia trees were still gorgeous. This beautiful mama wore a stunning white gown that showed off her bump and looked perfect against the city streets. Before the end of their session, we headed over to Boston Public Garden for the most gorgeous sunset! These soon-to-be parents snuggled up and showed off their sweet knit booties for their daughter before the sun went down. Some of my favorite portraits of them were by the pond in the garden. I just love that spot!

The timing of this Boston maternity portraits couldn’t have been more perfect. Just a week later, this sweet couple welcomed their little girl to the world. I’m so happy we had a chance to document their maternity photos before she came!
