Fall Family Session in Canton at the Bradley Estate

I’m thrilled to be sharing this beautiful fall family session in Canton with you! After a few years of being unable to photograph my families at The Bradley Estate, we finally had the chance to go back! The Bradley Estate is one of my favorite venues in Massachusetts – especially in the fall. It’s been closed down the last few years because of the pandemic – and because they filmed Little Women here – so it was a joyous occasion to be back. This wonderful family met me there for their fall photos and I don’t think we could have asked for a better session!

One of the reasons I love working at the Bradley Estate is because of how open it is. It provides the perfect backdrop for families of all ages, but especially for little ones. This family has two small kids – one is 2.5 and the other is less than a year old. They were SO good for me, all smiles and giggles. I truly believe that having an open space for them to play and a non-crowded evening helped us with those relaxed smiles.

Throughout the evening, I got to know this family better. I learned that Dad is from the Dominican Republic. He speaks Spanish so we had a great time communicating in my native language. I loved watching them explore the fields and play with their sons, too. It’s so special to capture these natural moments between parents and their little ones. The gorgeous backdrop and sunset helped set the scene, but all of those moments are genuine – and that’s what I love most about these family portraits!
