One of the things I love most about capturing senior portraits is documenting my seniors’ personalities. Every single one is different and it’s always such a great time telling their stories. That’s why I’m so excited to be sharing these gorgeous Arnold’s Arboretum senior portraits with you today! Our session was absolutely stunning – we had a beautiful sunset, and I had a wonderful model to work with. This incredible senior has overcome so many odds since their birth, and now, they’re celebrating their high school graduation! I’m honored to have been asked to document this special time in their life.

Arnold’s Arboretum Senior Portraits

If you know me, you know that I love Arnold’s Arboretum. It’s a beautiful spot in Jamaica Plains MA for any type of session. But, it was just perfect for these senior portraits. The rich colors worked perfectly with the chic outfits planned by this senior. Just wait until you see their hat – their mom MADE it! Can you believe it?!

Like I mentioned, this incredible senior has overcome a lot of odds to get where they are now. After they were born, there were a few complications with their heart and they had to undergo many surgeries in their first days of life. It’s such a hard time for families, especially when their new baby is struggling like that! But, now… they’re graduating from Canton High School! After everything, they’ve accomplished SO much. They brought their unique style to our session, including a fun top hat and leather jacket that I’m still obsessed with. And right before our session, they dyed their hair purple and had this really fun cut done. I really do love when my seniors bring their style and personality to their portraits!!
