It’s been such a busy start to the summer here at Helena Goessens Photography and I’m so grateful. After all the slow days thanks to COVID last year, I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend my nights. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t shared some of my favorite sessions from this season so I’m excited to be sharing this beautiful Rexhame Beach family session with you today! Nothing says summer like beach portraits, if you ask me! And this family’s session was just such a dream!
Rexhame Beach Family Session
This beautiful family came out to Rexhame Beach all the way from Oklahoma! Dad is originally from MA, so he wanted to come out and visit. While they were here, they decided to have a session with me and I’m so glad they did. They’re just SO sweet – and how adorable is their little girl!? Not only are they adorable, but they’re lucky too. The one day of nice weather we had was the day of their session. Although their sweet girl wasn’t too fond of the sand or water (it was her very first time at the beach!), we had a lot of fun together. She’s definitely the apple of their eye!!
One thing I love about family sessions at this age is how much fun it really is during a session. You can play, chase your toddler, hug them or make them laugh – and it’s a great time for everyone. And I’m still obsessed with their outfits too! They looked just perfect against the sand and setting sun. Pastels always photograph well and this session was no exception! Thank you again to this beautiful family for trusting me with such a special session! I loved spending the evening with you!
