Unfortunately, during the pandemic, they missed the chance to document their second baby’s newborn portraits so they knew they just had to do something when he turned one! They decided on a family photo session at home in their stunning 1891 Victorian house. It was a literal dream to photograph this session – I know you’re going to love it, too!

Their lifestyle portraits took us all over their beautiful home. There was so much great light throughout their house, it was easy to capture them as they went about their day. The boys were adorable and really very good for us throughout the session. They had time to read, play in the yard, and show off their kitchen. Honestly, some of my favorite photos from the session were in that kitchen! One of the reasons I love lifestyle sessions at home so much is that everyone is just IN their element. Parents can relax, kids can run and find their toys or show me their favorite room in the house. Whatever it is, it’s your family’s story and that’s worth documenting.
