Jamaica Plain Maternity Session

This summer has already been so full of amazing sessions with my couples – and several at the Arnold Arboretum! This gorgeous Jamaica Plain maternity session is definitely one of my favorites so far this summer. I seriously LOVE maternity sessions. Honestly, they’re always so full of hope and anticipation. As a photographer, I feel like I have such a special job when it comes to capturing these moments.

This sweet couple from Korea is expecting their first baby boy in September. I can’t wait to meet him, I’ll be getting to capture his first portraits after his arrival!! Despite the heat, these two were absolutely amazing. They never complained and looked fabulous. Mom even changed outfits THREE times… and I can’t even pick a favorite. Seriously, she looked gorgeous in everything!!

Photographing sessions in Jamaica Plain never gets old. It’s such a beautiful, fun little spot in Boston. Especially on a warm summer night like this one, when we get beautiful sunsets! For this session, I even got to use my Profoto B10 Plus lights – and let me tell you, I fell in love! It was so fun to play with them and create some powerful portraits. Congratulations again to this beautiful couple. I can’t wait to meet your little boy soon!!!
