I am so excited to be sharing this Boston lifestyle family portrait session with you! We had been trying to get a session on the books for this family for months. When Mom contacted me this summer, I was unavailable for a newborn session. But luckily, in the fall, we were able to get a session scheduled. I broke my usual rule of no sessions at the end of November to see this beautiful family… and it was SO worth it!
Boston Lifestyle Family Portraits in Historic Home
The day of their session arrived and we got hit with our first major snowstorm of the year. Of course! So we went ahead and rescheduled – and then guess what?! We got another snowstorm!!! Thankfully, it wasn’t as bad as the first one so we went ahead with their in home lifestyle session. We held their Boston lifestyle portrait session in the afternoon (as opposed to my normal morning times). The day was cloudy – but we all made it work! This family was just wonderful. And their house, wow! It was beautiful!!!!
Their historic home is one block from the Boston Public Gardens and is stunning. They had some gorgeous windows we were able to shoot near. Everyone was on their best behavior and can we talk about those holiday inspired outfits? I loved the pops of red against the white of their home’s walls. The oldest two children were just joyful with each other, playing and it was clear they love being together. Their youngest is just 5 months old and was perfectly adorable during our lifestyle session.
