Boho Inspired Norwood MA Maternity Session

Is there anything more exciting than celebrating the upcoming arrival of a new baby? Miriam’s gorgeous Norwood MA maternity session is on the blog today! I met Miriam at a local workshop here in Boston last September and we connected immediately. No wonder, either! She’s such an amazing woman. Miriam is originally from Mexico and came to Boston to study before getting married and having her sweet little girl, Ana Sofia. She is an incredible hair and makeup artistas well as being aphotographerin the area, so I was doubly honored when she asked me to photograph her maternity session to celebrate the arrival of their soon-to-be baby boy!!

We decided to have her maternity session in this beautiful natural light studio in Norwood, MA. It was a great chance for me to experiment artistically and it was the perfect spot for these chic maternity portraits! Miriam and her daughter were so much fun to photograph! Ana Sofia was in a great mood for me – she was laughing and giggling and it was clear how much she is excited to be a big sister! Like any 3 year old, she LOVED the huge teddy bear and balloons we had for the session. She and her mama both looked like princesses and Ana Sofia soaked that right up!

Miriam was absolutely stunning during her session. She chose a simple white gown that showed off her beautiful baby bump and accessorized with a simple floral crown. She was glowing our entire session!! I loved how simple the maternity portraits turned out to be – full of light, a gorgeous mama and big sister and a boho feel to them. The studio in Norwood was seriously perfect for this session – so much light and it was a great amount of space! Miriam, I am so excited for your family and I can’t wait to meet your bundle of joy! Congratulations again!
