The incredible C family is back on the blog today! In case you missed their hospital Fresh 48 session, take a peek here. I was so happy to get to go visit them at their beautiful home to celebrate M.’s arrival (again) with a lifestyle newborn session. It was a great excuse to see everyone and take a peek at how much this sweet little guy has already started to change. Isn’t it truly amazing how many changes happen over just a few days when it comes to a new baby?
The house is absolutely gorgeous and despite an overcast day, the light in their home was perfect for our session. Looking at their incredible home, it’s hard to believe they only moved in 3 months ago! I absolutely loved M.’s nursery. The decor is super cute and I know he will enjoy spending time there as he gets bigger. As always, the C family were full of smiles and laughs – always such a joy to work with! Since the boy’s grandmother is still visiting to give their mom a little bit of help, we made sure to include her in some of the portraits. What a special memory for the C family! And M.’s older brother, V., was great during the session. He was definitely a cutie pie, even if he was more interested in playing than being in the pictures! One of the benefits of a lifestyle session, for sure! The best part of our session was when their dad turned on some music during the session. I was all about it and the next thing I knew Led Zepplin’s Stairway to Heaven started playing! I don’t know about the C family, but I was certainly relaxed then.
Lifestyle sessions are a great chance to capture your family in their natural habitat – music, toys, special décor and all. I find that most families are more relaxed at home and the session are easier on them. Especially those with young children!
