Is there anything cuter than a sweet baby and a fall family portraits? I think not! I’m so glad C. booked this session with me to update her family’s portraits! Her family is absolutely adorable and all three of them were so down to earth, seriously beautiful people inside and out! Her sweet son was so active and didn’t want to stop moving the entire session, which just made everything more fun. I was definitely able to capture his spirit this way – and kids should be allowed to be kids during their sessions. Watching (and letting!) them play is a much better way to get those genuine smiles parents all love!
Believe it or not, this shoot actually took place over two sessions. During the first session, it started to rain – which was so random, the forecast said it would be clear! Luckily, C. and her family were willing to come back out another morning to finish. The day was so beautiful, we definitely got lucky with that weather!! Having our session over two days even helped C.’s son open up to me a little bit more – he was all smiles during our second session together!
Fall is a great time for family portraits, if you haven’t booked yours yet. There’s not too many days left before the holidays so be sure to send me a note if you’re ready to update your family’s pictures. There are so many beautiful options to capture the fall foliage so don’t miss out!
